Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Carlos Ramon joined Roo Partners, in 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer. In his current role, Carlos oversees the firm’s accounting, tax, and financial reporting functions.

With over 8 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, Carlos has a proven track record of providing strategic guidance and executing successful transactions for HNWIs, family offices, and institutional investors. Prior to joining Roo, Carlos was the Director of Finance at a multi-billion-dollar family office, where he was responsible for monitoring the performance of the firm’s alternative investment portfolio, including oversight of fund accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Prior to that, Carlos worked at PwC in the Financial Due Diligence and Transaction Advisory practice, serving both private equity / venture capital and corporate clients with their M&A strategy.

Carlos holds both a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Bentley University. He is a certified public accountant.

When he is not hard at work, Carlos enjoys nothing more than spending time with his son Leo and playing a round of golf.
