Spencer Cecola
Vice President
Spencer joined Roo Capital as an Investment Associate in 2023. He supports all functions of the investment lifecycle, including identifying transformative companies, due diligence, and underwriting.
Spencer began his career as an M&A Investment Banker within Deloitte’s Technology Team where he focused on B2B SaaS, tech-enabled services, and consumer internet verticals. After banking, he worked within the strategic finance divisions of two venture-backed companies, CloudKitchens and Houzz, where his focus was capital allocation and unit-economic growth.
Spencer is an alumnus of the University of Southern California where he earned Cum Laude distinction for his degrees in Business and East Asian Languages and Cultures. During his free time, Spencer enjoys spending time at the ocean and exploring the various ecosystems of Florida.
